One of the best Spider-Man games, a hidden gem. Video is of a review of the Wii version rather than a trailer, I grew up with the Wii version and I think this review is very accurate.

I tried this version on PC and hated it, I don't know why developers considered to make mandatory to use movement controls on every fucking port Spider-man games got for the wii.

Consider that this is the best we got for the Wii
when compared to the PS2 version which its just a port of the PSP Game
which its a 2.5D Side-Scroller

Genuinly don't know why they didn't put the version the Wii got on the PS2 as well
unless the game as it is, its already too much for the PS2 to handle

You know what really grinds my gears about the Wii? The fact that soooo many games for that system don't have the option to use a Gamecube controller nor a Classic Controller. It makes getting them set up for Dolphin a major pain in the rear.

Agreed, what bothers me more though is a handful of games support the GC controller but not the classic controller, making them incompatible with the Wii U gamepad for absolutely no reason.

Waggling is not optional. It is used for swinging, lock-on, suit change, web zip (web strike? Can't remember the exact name of the move), and QTEs.

Still impresses me that we got actual Web of Shadows on Wii, environmental destruction included. Compared to the sorry excuse the PS2 got. Only thing Wii is missing is the team-ups, but it makes up for that with alternate costumes.

Only real downside to this version is the controls. I remember locking on and switching between red suit/black suit was a hassle. They were both mapped to flicking the nunchuck (forward/back for lock-on, left/right for suit change). Every time I tried to lock on, I'd change suits. Every time I tried to change suits, I'd lose my lock-on. And don't even get me started on the wrist killer that is the web zip. You gotta flick your wrist hard for it to fully register. And this is a move you will be using regularly.

But all in all, if you played Web of Shadows on Wii, you played Web of Shadows.
