For those who don't know, SpaceHey is what would happen if MySpace was launched today... And it's actually super neat, combining those old web vibes with features and "QoL" improvements that makes it less of a nightmare to navigate for the modern user (hell, they even have their own mobile app!).
That said, I have found it to be VERY rough around the edges on some areas, and also to be lacking some sort of "bridge" between yourself and all other users -- blogs and bulletins work well enough, but it's hard for me to find content not made by myself and the forums are as basic as could be (I don't think you can even quote anyone, which... Uhhhh...). They also seem pretty dead, despite the sheer amount of topics posted in there in the last five years.
It's interesting to me that the site's "infested" with teenagers, which I just don't know what to think about... It's great that younger folk are enamoured of the idea, but you'd think that a MySpace clone would attract a different crowd (not that I'm complaining, mind you).
It's a fan project, though, so I can totally believe it can get better and live up to its enormous potential, given enough time and resources.
What about you? Are you an user? Have eyed it but never joined? Or is this your first time hearing about it? Whatever the case, please feel free to discuss it below.
Cheers
