Done Some custom emojis/reaction symbols to liked posts/threads

PaleFolklore gonna be so happy when he’s back LOL.

Alright I can't keep silent anymore, who thought it's good idea to replace a clear and emotive laughing face with the universally hated (cause you are supposed to by design) chuckling passive aggressive mocking bully duck hunt dog, that also in this tiny form looks like a turd unless you squint.

I gotta admit, the first time I saw the duck hunt dog, I thought it was a turd. lmao. I think recoloring the ears to a lighter color would go a long way of making him more recognizable. His ears get lost with the background of the website.

... Did you mention my name?
As far as I can see I was late...!!!!??
Actually not yet! some of emojis are not decided yet... and also there's always room for improving things. ?

I think the theme of site plays a big role here.
I'm using light theme, so it's easily recognizable for me.
But yeah, our emojis should look good on both white and black background.

Edit:
By the way, if you guys like to change the theme of site or test the emojis in both themes, you can easily switch between themes using this icon:

It's the same in both mobile and desktop versions of site.

Kind of agree about the Duck Hunt dog, mainly that the tiny version doesn’t read very well and I also thought it was a turd at first.
The Megaman extra life icon could work. I’m not at my PC atm but I could try and edit it so he does an xD face which would probably read pretty well.

I tried lol. Dunno if it's any good though. Two different versions because I couldn't decide on the eye shape.

(The more I look at the tiny version the more it sort of looks to me like he's sneezing)

How about using glow/shadow effects?
Using this css for adding glow effect in dark theme:
CSS:
.reaction-image {
    filter: drop-shadow(-1px -1px 1px white) drop-shadow(1px 1px 1px white);
}

After

Before

And this css for shadow effect in light theme:
CSS:
.reaction-image {
    filter: drop-shadow(-1px -1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3)) drop-shadow(1px 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3));
}

Honestly, i think light theme doesn't need shadow, so if it's hard to add css based on current theme, you can just add glow effect for both themes. (in light theme, glow won't have much effect)

I also thought the duck hunt dog was a turd when the reactions were first replaced. It looks a bit better now that the size has increased but it could still use some adjustments or even a replacement.

Quackshot's pepper or Shining Force's blaze

...Thinking about a "can relate" reaction, a bell fits good.
("does rings a bell to you?")

Didn't know the reactions could be animated. Neat.
The Duck hunt dog laugh is also 2 frames. Maybe having it animated would be good.

How about gemini man? when you agree, you are kind of making a double of that opinion.
