Done Some custom emojis/reaction symbols to liked posts/threads

Maybe using some pixel art, a little bit more akin to the site's theme, would be a good idea? Really not sure if that'd be possible, since custom-made art can be expensive. But it'd be a welcome addition.

Yeah I saw, I just think the heart tank from MMX is kind of ugly (and would read poorly as a small icon since it's only pink in the middle and I assume most use the dark theme), and there was already one reaction suggested from Megaman so I wanted to provide an alternative which is still very much retro game themed :)

Will these new reaction emojis replace the old ones in existing posts with their reactions? Some might not fit the original intention ?

EDIT: I'm guessing by the reaction_id numbers that some of the old ones just aren't replaced by anything, and some of the new ones have never-before-used ID's.

Yeah probably being changed as we speak. As long as they are very easily readable, so that it won't leave a bunch of room for super simple misunderstandings I'll be happy about the change in general :)

EDIT: Doesn't need to be confrontational... it could be a reaction to a post about Company_X doing something dumb, etc, not addressed at the user posting the news ?

Agreed. I don't think negative-adjacent reactions foster anything good at all. It's much easier to be passive aggressive and make the recipient for the reaction anxious and second guess the post they made for no reason.
It's a forum so we should foster differing thoughts with discussion, not easy ways to ridicule without having to really engage.
