I spent several hours yesterday cutting back a gigantic bougainvillea at my friend's house. I stopped because their green bin was full, but next week I'm gonna go back and handle the rest of it. It basically needs cut down to the stump so it can regrow vertically instead of the lean it has now. But today I'm paying for it. I twisted and stretched in ways I haven't for... apparently way too long! So today was less than good due to how I feel, but it's a good reminder that I need to get up and move far more often than I do.

I feel wasted, had a terrible day because of noise (both at home and at school).

Haven't had a truly peaceful day in a while, but it's nothing too bad either. I am just thankful that the year is nearing it's end.

We're not doing great here today, so far. Back in May, there was the whole thing where my father was unconscious and the paramedics had to break in to get to him, then he was in the hospital for about 10 days before he passed away. So I've wondered since then: if I had been here in the house, could that situation have been avoided and could I have saved him? I'll never know. But I had this dream earlier this morning where I was here, and he still didn't make it, but with the added caveat of being awake and alert and in a panic while it was happening. So I woke up in a less than great headspace, and we'll see how the rest of the day goes. I fixed a printer a few minutes ago and I need to do a store run I've been putting off, so I'm just gonna try and have the best day possible despite being all wigged out from a dream.

Having a tough couple of days because my hands hurt after cutting back a lot more of that plant I showed in an earlier post. But, tonight is halloween and I'm helping my friend and her family pass out candy, then it's the weekend, so that should be nice. I've also been thinking that instead of no-nut november, I will do no-net november and see if I feel better about life in general without doomscrolling and whatnot. Guess we'll see!

Slightly bummed that my brother didn't ask me to come to a Halloween party where a ton of our mutual friends were going, but at the same time I feel like I probably would have declined anyways.
Still, would've felt nice to have been asked. Maybe I'd have been super up to it and made a sick wizard costume, who knows?

Oh well, no skin off my nose, really, and it was out of town. I just wanted to get the thought out of my head so I don't mull it over needlessly.

Pretty good! Been off for the past two days and with work ramping up for the holidays, I probably needed the R&R. Mainly watched cartoons, various things on youtube, chatted with my facebook buddy, and am currently watching the late 80's Beauty & The Beast show with Ron Perlman & Linda Hamilton
