So, how was your day? ?

August 10th , Sunday , 23:20

Today was okay-ish . Went to work at 12 o'clock noon , endured alot of customers and now im trying to watch further the old Kinnikuman-anime to get my GO! GO! MUSCLE!-fix. Tomorrow is a free day for me so i can finally sit with my E-guitar and practice more.

IT WAS HOT, I HATE THE HEAT, EVERYDAY I PRAY THAT WINTER COMES ALREADY!!!! I WAS SWEATING MY BALLS OFF TRYING TO CLEAN MY PLACE UP!! I HATE THE DUSTY CALIFORNIA HEAT!!! I am Mexican, I was supposed to be born for the heat, so why is it that I melt when it goes above 85!!!!!!!!!! THe whole day my energy is drained because the heat saps away my fucking lifeforce. Drinking whole gallons of water just so I can keep up with the amount I sweat.

Ive been productive for a monday had a damaged electronic item to return as the amazon driver pretty much did the shot putt with it through the letter box the battery was overheating so thats my refund being processed. Spent 30 minutes talking to people in the bus station before i came home so never noticed the time i had to wait very rare i make public appearances in summer due to hay fever and my skin conditions flaring. A ridiculous 4th heatwave is coming in tomorrow so that rules me out of playing my consoles for a bit during the day. Im happy i got stuff done i set myself to do other than that relaxing with racing games on steam and kicking back with ice packs applied to my feet. I hope everyone else gets by monday the best they can i know its not the easiest day being a 17 year veteran in retail.

DeusGod bless you my friend if you want to add me on steam as I don't have a PC I'm building my game library how is it to buy one to play

I play on a laptop and a mini PC i bought last year. I dont have any high end games installed but stuff from the 2010s era plays very well. Also retro games run great.

Jogo em um laptop e um mini PC que comprei ano passado. Não tenho nenhum jogo de última geração instalado, mas jogos da década de 2010 rodam muito bem. Jogos retrô também rodam muito bem.
But the important thing is to play regardless of whether this server is newer or newer, then you have already played The Doom of ms-dos

I wasn't able to post yesterday, so I'd like to recount the day's details: I packed everything from my apartment in Seattle into my car, and left for Southern California at 11:34 pm. 1204 miles from door to door. Drive takes about 20 hours if you only stop for gas and pee breaks, and if you purposely don't eat much for a few days beforehand so you don't have poop breaks. I was ready to rock.

Everything was cool until I got around Sacramento. Stopped in a place called Elk Grove to get some gas, and noticed that it was warm out. Being in Seattle makes you forget about heat because it's usually very cool there, and apparently there was a heat advisory for the entire planet Earth yesterday. The way I was going took the 5 freeway down through basically all of California, but after Tracy, you go south through the most bleak-ass, desolate-ass farmland with nothing to look at but rows and rows of plants and perhaps some cows every now and again. It's the most terrible boredom, even with music to listen to or whatever, because you just go in a straight line from Tracy until you hit the Grapevine and I think it takes around five or six hours for just that stretch. Add to this the fact that you'll see signs that read, "next gas 35 miles" and you know that you absolutely do not want to break down anywhere along this stretch, because it's going to be a zillion dollars for a tow truck, and way out in the sticks like that, your tow truck is going to be driven by either a conman or some inbred cannibal. So, not wanting to encounter this fate, I opted to not run my air conditioner, as to place less stress on my engine. My car has given no indication that it would break down on me, but being twelve hours into the drive by the time I got to this point, I wasn't taking any chances.

I brought drinks with me, so as to stay hydrated, but to also spend less time off the road shopping for things. Two drinks were consumed earlier in the trip, but I saved my big bottle of water for this long stretch. I had it propped against the passenger seat and wedged between some of the stuff I'd packed from the apartment. Zero sunlight had touched this thing. But because the air was so hot (at multiple points I checked and it was 108F for probably four hours straight), when I went to drink the water, it was super hot. I still drank it anyway, because at least it's moisture, but it was not refreshing. Finally pulled over for gas and when I went to take my keys out of the ignition, they were so hot that they burned my hand. I'd taken my shoe off because my heel was hurting from being in the same position for so long, and the gas/brake pedals burned my foot through my sock. It sucked super hard.

By the time I got through the Grapevine and saw that "now leaving Angeles National Forest" sign, I rolled the windows up and fired up the air conditioner, and had no further issues for the last 2-ish hours to get home. When I got off of the 5 freeway after being on it for over 1,000 miles, I felt a wave of relief. A small bit of traffic in the more populated areas, but that's a given. Pulled up to the house at 7:14 pm, just shy of the 20-hour mark. Unloaded the car, drank a ton of water, and found a Pepsi that I'd left for myself in the fridge when I was last here in June. Took a very satisfying shower, and slept for hours after that.

And now, after having done this 1200-mile drive nonstop a handful of times, I can say these things honestly:
- don't do it. stop somewhere in the middle
- I'm never doing it again. I will fly instead
- I'm too old for this shit

(also, today was much more mellow by comparison. I got groceries, did laundry, and plugged my PC up so I could just lounge around)

Past few days have been pretty much work and slowly getting used to the new medication I've been taking. Treated myself to a big bag of Modelling Clay and one of the 2022 re-releases of the Giant TMNT figures (Mikey specifically). Kind of surprised that these bad boys are already starting to go up in price (and if you think that's insane, look up the prices of the Giant TMNT Troll dolls)

There was also a sale on the Umihara Kawase series on Steam and scooped it up for 5.99 American, which I don't think is too bad

Heatwave conditions are back. I only had 2 cats visit me at sunset they seem to mirror me by hiding all day. I managed to win a game of risk on the PC despite my brain hardly functioning. Ive a short break booked for 1st september by the seaside ive not been away all year just havent been feeling travel but when summer ends thats my cue to get going. I get a bigger pay on friday so i can hit steam and afford a nice shopping delivery for the weekend. Just gonna keep myself cool best i can the next couple of days till the temperature comes down a bit over the weekend then i can enjoy PS5 once again.

Para oYour vacation, girl, you wanted to apologize for the inconvenience, even talking about it, you will take advantage of things from the promotions. If you want, send me a code for a game on Steam so I can add it to my library. From different games, sorry for the inconvenience.

I drained an old waterbed and the drain kit's instructions said it should take roughly 45 minutes. At hour three, it was about 25% full still, but I finally got it. Other than that, I hid inside and ate and watched YT most of the day, not a bad time.

Life's been going pretty smooth these last couple weeks, though I can honestly say I'm *very* burnt out with this summer heat. I miss being able to go walking and jogging without melting in the first 5 minutes.

I had a Samsung NC110 notebook from 2011, and I've been struggling with it for 5 hours. It's giving me an error, and for some reason, the screen looks like it's going to a disco.

OMy day was more or less, I'm sad and happy at the same time, I want to cry and be happy, there are days when I want to be at peace and there are days when I want to disappear from the map

Got up and had ice cream for breakfast, then set out to start tackling stuff here at my dad's house. Cleaned up a little outside so it looks less like no one lived here for two months, hosed down the walks and underneath the cars, etc. Started the vehicles that will start, need to get a battery for the one that won't, and now am on a lunch break. I don't know what else I'm going to try and tackle today but I gotta do a little bit every day or it's never going to be cleaned out and livable by anyone besides me.
