Went by too quickly.

I woke up with a stomach ache, probably due to last night's dinner. Today I was supposed to drive a couple of hours to go spend some days with family and friends I haven't seen for a year but I don't really feel like leaving home right now ::sadkirby

Spent the back half of this day waiting on updates from 1200 miles away, as I couldn't get in touch with my father. It culminated with my aunt and several of my dad's neighbors prying open his back door to get to him, he was fully dressed and watching tv, but not breathing. Paramedics came and got him on oxygen, took him to the hospital. They ran a bunch of tests and apparently he has pneumonia due to aspirating, and though there doesn't appear to be any evidence of a heart attack and his old stents still look good and right, he went for an unknown amount of time without breathing. So we don't know if there's any associated damage there. Currently he's still there for monitoring and isn't really conscious, so... that's all I know for now. The guy retired about two weeks ago, I want him to be able to enjoy that, not have this happen. So just holding out for good news, and waiting for any news before I make plans to travel or not.

We have had about 6 hours power outage due to storm!
So me and my family sat and watched many films together...
It was quite a joyful day for me! 😊

Not great.
The last few days I've been having an ache around my left temple which makes me veel a vein around there. It's pretty distracting and worrisome, even though I'm fairly certain it's just due to me being a lazy fuck with poor posture. It's worse at night too so it's affecting my sleep.

I've been having tension headaches my whole life, though, but it being a vein is a little scarier than, like, my knee or something, so I've e-mailed my GP to schedule a meeting just so that they can help me know what it is so that I can stop worrying.

I hope some good news arrived and he's recovering. Hopefully money and circumstance permit going to clap eyes on him regardless.

Bit tense because ive a government phone call to take. Waiting to see if a disability case has been won and they have answers for me tomorrow Ive been fighting this for 11 months now takes a toll. Other than that been shielding from the sun and pollen hay fever season is definitely coming.

I haven't gone yet, because I was waiting for relatives to weigh in on whether I needed to. Turns out, he didn't open his eyes until Monday, and he's in ICU still. But, he's awake daily and can communicate despite being restrained still (he asked to have one hand free at once and immediately tried to pull his IVs, so he went back to being tied up), as he sent me a text yesterday saying 'so far so good.' They're saying he needs a pacemaker, which doesn't seem to be a high-risk procedure, but he needs to be strong enough for them to do it first. So until that happens, he's in bed and resting on a lot of painkillers. Still scary, just not AS scary for now. Hoping he pulls through and gets out.

Pacemakers aren't too dangerous, no; here's hoping he's on the mend here soon.

First day of peace ive had this week midweek was crazy and friday was nuts also. Only thing kept me going was being able to call people i trust.

I got things cleaned up, it's not perfect or all of what I wanted to do but it's at least progress and looks a lot better already!

I got a note on my door saying they're doing annual apartment inspections on monday, so I used that as an excuse to clean today. I didn't want to when I started, but now that I'm done, I'm glad I did it.

I'm guessing this will merge posts since I posted last in the thread, but: it's the next day (sunday). I went to bed at around 3 pm, with the plan for getting up around 10-11 pm or so. I like to get up on my nights off at around the same time I'd normally get up for work. So I wake up and feel like I've slept for a long time and see that it is 6:30. I get up, assuming that it is 6:30 am and I've just accidentally slept 15 hours, because it sure feels like I slept a long time. Because I feel really rested, I don't mind that I overslept. Look at my phone and see that it is still Sunday. It's 6:30 pm. I can go back to bed for 4-5 more hours and still be back to when I originally intended to get up. It feels like I time traveled while also winning something simultaneously. What a great feeling! gnite
