ZAK MCKRACKEN AND THE COSMIC ENERGY

After the defeat on Earth, the three generals betray the King of Caponia and freeze him atop Tower Zenith, the highest structure on the planet.
With the King immobilized, the generals begin their plan: to conquer Caponia and seize total control.
Prince Zorblax escapes the planet and reaches Earth to seek help from Zak McKracken and Annie Larris, carrying with him the forbidden White Crystal Manual.
The Crystal can free the King… but only if activated correctly.
Zak uses the alien Manual to channel the Crystal’s energy onto himself, awakening the Cosmic Energy, a defensive force that repels enemies, deflects attacks, and shields him from any threat.
Now Zak, Annie, and Zorblax must return to Caponia, rescue the frozen King, and stop the generals before they take over their planet.

The adventure begins again.

Posted in "Romhack Releases".

Well? Where's the rom?

Which pre-existing SNES game have the Zak McKracken characters been placed into?

Is it a Clock Tower hack because both those games are point n click?

Did Zombies ate my Neighbours get repurposed into an action packed Zak McKracken game because they're both LucasArts games?

Did you make a romhack of something completely wild and unexpected like Mario, Street Fighter, or Chrono Trigger?

Do you even have a rom to demonstrate, or is this just a mockup of something you'd like to see?

You probably don't know what I've released before, but in 2026 I already put out 2 complete SMW patches, and I've never posted mockups.
This one is on Super Mario World too, coding just started.
When the patch is ready, I'll release it like always.
Stay tuned!

Interesting. I guess we'll see how well Zak McKracken translates to SMW's gameplay. I've only ever thought of it as a point and click but I guess it doesn't have to be.

Zak on SNES sounds interesting. As for the cover, you should just modify a screenshot with something interesting on it.

About the AI for the posters: you guys are right, but I'm flying solo and I'm already handling the SNES coding, pixel art, gameplay, and everything else.

i see. mybe eventaully ull get to it, its just that some people might judge it from the ai cover, good luck

Making a game by yourself is hard work. Do what you have to to finish it.
You're right, it's a ton of work. But I've finished my previous games on my own, and I'll finish this one the same way.

Thanks! Honestly, I don't really care what people think about the AI covers. I like how they come out, and since I don't have time to handle posters on top of everything else, I'm sticking with AI. At the end of the day, they're just posters — the game is a whole different thing, and that's where my focus is.

I like the cover. Snes games should have been square.
