I assumed Smash Remix reached its maximum cartridge size yet they've managed to do more.

I also am glad to see the best Mario girl Birdo in Smash.

Not replace because I like to see the original Smash Remix still available.

Weird because its just the same foundation with just more content ontop of it, but whatever.

Plus the version currently on the Repo exceeds vanilla Version 1.0 and is the only one available. So again hard disagree.

It's not made by the original team and I am for preservation regardless if it adds more content (see it as Street Fighter Alpha 3 and it's Upper/Max update)

Why not keeping both the latest version of the original Remix and this one as a new download link? It's been done for several hacks that had different options.

No need to argue about a trivial thing.

There are plenty of romhacks on the repo where we have multiple versions available in the link. The recent secret of mana + has several different difficulty or turbo options.

I appreciate where you are coming from and I myself have downloaded a few different roms with hacks included from this site.

The only point I am trying to get across here is this:
if you search Smash Remix, the only link that you are presented with goes beyond the first version anyway. therefore that being the case, there is no reason really why we can't have a secondary drop down link to the now further updated version in some capacity.

'Don't want the original smash remix replaced' I don't see a v1.00 on the Repo, do you? well then.

It's not a complicated ask and it makes sense. had there been a visible earlier version and that was the only one available (which currently is not the case) i'd be hooting a different tune.
