Let's see how much of a trainwreck this is. Who's playing? It's free so you have nothing to lose except your precious time and what little faith you may have in EA. Hopefully the microtransactions aren't too intrusive. That said, I do hear that you start with nothing but basic, no name clothing and decks, forcing you to buy each individual piece of clothing and skateboard.

I was invited to the playtesting ages ago, but it was one of those where you were supposed to play while in a call, like a focus test group, so I chickened out.
I've not heard good things since people were allowed to talk about it though, but I'll cautiously see how it turns out. Loved both Skate 2 and 3 (never played 1).
