The Sims 2 is a Simulation video game published by EA Games released on October 24th, 2005 for the GBA. A romhack made by unknown. This hack disables the fail state of conversations, as they are fully randomized and their outcome doesn't rely on player input by saying the right thing (as it used to be on Bustin Out and Urbz), but just pure luck. Advancing on conversations is now easy and the story can progress without a hurdle. All other simulation aspects and needs are kept the same.

Used to play this on DS Lite's GBA slot when I was a kid. The game would have been easy if you can read properly and explore carefully, but yeah that conversation section was a nightmare. They were so NRG, and I can't believe that's what determined the difficulty itself

I believe they got stretched too thin for having to develop the ds and gba versions at the same time. Relying on rng is usually a solution used to cut corners.
