I actually think that the Half-Life ps2 port has much better visuals than the current Steam version.

I still don't understand the hatred towards the HD pack that Half-Life fans have (especially for silly reasons such as "why would an assault rifle have pistol ammo?") yet I feel like the PS2 models are fulfilling their purpose well.

I've been building my collection for years now but of all the platforms my PS2 librarys the largest. Shoutouts to Armored Core, Ace Combat, Monster Hunter and the original Ratchet and Clank games.

I curate the whole collection through Playnite to to manage all these games across emulators on one platform. Running them off a (now near full) 4TB drive but makes accessing everything so much easier.

PS2 emulation is going very well lately, it's not 100% accurate to the original hardware but with the newest version of PCSX2 you basically have games without the need to tinker to make them remotely work.

That´s nice but still no need for it when I got a PS2 with a hard drive and all the games I wanna play. Still PS2 are so cheap today from 20-30 bucks at least in my country.
