Well this one have been bugging me for a long time my friend he urge me to Dark Souls Series because is good second he told mme to test my action skill on this game, well to be I am not interested into super dark rpg, although I played King field back in ps1 days and also I love Evergrace is one of my top ten favorite ps2 games so I don't if I like this one

The first saw this game I was so-so looks good but it never got my intention

So explain to me about Dark Souls should I play it or try it.

My friend told me to try dark souls 1. I didn't want to play it at first cause it didn't look fun to me, but now it is one of those games that i wish i could erase my memory so i can try it again and the genre became one of my favorites.

Sure, give the first one a go. Just play it slowly, take a minute to understand how things work, read the item descriptions and be wary of your surroundings. It isn't a ball busting adventure like many say, you just need a bit of discipline.

Try it. Just don't aggro everyone and try not to get ganked. If a boss is giving you trouble, check the wiki for their weakness or strategy. That's how I got into Dark Souls.
Oh and if you happened to like it, don't listen to the internet and check out Dark Souls 2 next.

If you enjoy getting absorbed in dense atmosphere or lore and/or enjoy challenging, in-depth action combat or exploring densely packed, intricately designed levels, then absolutely!

I think online discourse has blown the series' most eye-catching elements way out of proportion.
Yes, these games are difficult and yes, these games attract toxic tryhards and lore-hounds, but at the end of the day they're simply extremely well-made action RPGs with a Metroidvania influence to them and that's it.

They're my favourite games of the last decade or two and I could go on and on about how incredible I personally find a lot of what makes them what they are, but they're not for everyone and that's completely okay - there's no such thing as an actual "must-play" game out there.

Are you gonna die alot, yes. Will you be infuriated by the game, alot. Will you want to smash the controller and curse us for making you try the game, absolutely. But that's the thing, the game has that certain draw towards itself, people love it despite the hundreds of hours of hope and dreams getting crushed. Try it for a while, a recommended game as of many others like it. And remember...trust your gut in this game.

Se você gosta de Zelda, vai gostar de Dark Souls.
Se você gosta de Castlevania, vai gostar de Dark Souls.
Se você não gosta de sofrer dano por queda... eu recomendo que você jogue com outra coisa.😂
BomGood morning friend, how are you? I'm thinking about how to reach level 5, add an icon, and change my banner.

Mornin' mornin' my dude, I'm well and how're you? :) Well you're nearly at level 5 already - You're like a speed-runner! What are you thinking of changing your icon and banner to?

Bom dia, meu camarada!

When I think of the 2000's, I think of Pop music bands, Crazy Frog, frosted tips hairstyles , polyphonic ringtones, bloom, bright, the PS2, Dance Dance games, Eminem and sunglasses.

Also, Demon's Souls came out in 2009, so that just about counts too!

Thanks for the tips, I'll start decorating.

EUI just need to know what would be a good idea. My profile is of my favorite Pokémon, but I can't add a signature because the image isn't showing up since I'm on my phone.

I liked the first Dark Souls because of the world design. I haven't played the other but from what I understand the world design is different so I haven't really had much interest in them. The way the multiplayer was setup in Dark Souls 1 is one of the coolest systems I've seen in a game and I don't really play multiplayer games.

Just don't go to the skeletons after you leave Undead Asylum. When I played the game for the first time they bullied me so hard, it made me quit the game and return to it only couple years later. :loldog

Dark Souls are great games if you love a challenge. It can be very rewarding to create a character build, and progress through all of the content in these games. Definitely not for people who just want to turn their brain off.

You will be forced to learn the games mechanics, and how to move/dodge properly if you want to progress. Also, if you're not watching/reading a walkthrough, the levels can be pretty unforgiving, with many traps, and enemies that come out of nowhere.

However, with all of these challenges, comes lots of reward, and will make you a more skillful player in the long run. I definitely recommend.

I think the first advice should be "Don't try to beat the asylum demon with your starter broken sword"

Don't think the series is hard or something. You just grind EXP as soon as you start the game and afterwards the unbalanced nature of the series is eliminated and your higher level makes the game how ordinary games are lol. This is really pretty much how video games were until like PS3 era. Afterwards new generation kids got used to playing games rarely dying which is a new thing in the context of the video game history so Dark Souls does nothing different compared to how games already were. It even make the games easy by enabling you to increase your health which back then games had no such feature with few great exceptions. You used to just die even touching an enemy once. So if this series is hard go play Silver Surfer on NES and see how games were like back then lol.

The games may look dull but it's kinda fun to progress in the games. For fun I try to go "take no hit" run and if I take hit I restart from checkpoint and try again. You can come up with your own fun ideas to play these games like go all naked and only use a wooden stick. You may test different builds and stuff. I especially like Dark Souls 3 the most though. It has an amazing atmosphere, buildings, weapon designs and shit. So don't underestimate how Dark Souls is but don't overestimate it too.

The other aspect of why the series is fun is real players can invade your world. It can be a good surprise that you can experience fun and funny moments but in the end it is up to you to prefer to play the game while that feature is enabled. Though I'm not sure if such aspect of the series is still online though.

Also Dark Souls 3's title music is really a banger yo. It really hooked me up while I played the entire game even singing the "song" lolol:

They're excellent games. They're talked about as if they were some kaizo hack style series but that's not really the case. As long as you don't rush into obvious ambushes and manage your stamina well you'll be fine. The game rarely feels cheap.

If you like to fight the controller with wooden man tank responses, fast deaths, low progress pace, be my quest play dark.
Otherwise any God of War or Devil may Cry are the Best of the Best Actionpg with perfect control handling.

Don't start with 3 if you don't want to be bored with the previous entries (the third game is much more fast paced), and please don't skip the second game ::sailor-embarrassed

If you like action RPGs I'm sure you will like dark souls, just keep in mind that these games are meant to be hard, so try to not get angry every time you die (you will die a LOT).
