It's a two-hour drive to the nearest theater playing it, and today was the last day that theater carried it. I'm glad I was able to make the trip. It was very enjoyable.

Rewatching

Earlier today I finished "My Bloody Valentine" (1981) now tonight I'm watching "The Resurrected" (1991).

Between yesterday and the day before, I saw Eragon, from 2006.
I've never read the books, and with the movie I was expecting something far, far worse. It's just average.

Although you can tell it's a teen fantasy movie from the 2000s because the villain looks like a vampire from Twilight:

Movie night pick. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, I think. Not even bad enough to enjoy.

Still had fun somehow.

The lost Boys ( 1987 )

An action / vampire movie, quite entertaining. ( learned this was a trilogy have yet to watch the other 2 )

Watched a Bond double feature today. Continuing my quest to watch all the Bond movies in order of release.
First "Tomorrow Never Dies" 1997, Didnt like. So villian here is media mogel who wants to start WWIII for his news shit? Didn't like. Fuck your CNN shit bitch.

Followed by "World is not Enough." 1999. Better, much better. Better stunts, story with one of the characters doing a heel turn for reason I saw coming and was like, ok then. Villian could have been done a bit better IMHO. Enjoyed this more than tomorrow never dies.

So with now that I've seen the alleged best ones of Pierce Brosnan, with the final one of his outing being the next film I'm going to watch. My ratings of the Bonds are : Connery is the GOAT, followed by Dalton (did him dirty, he should have done a couple more movies) then Brosnan, followed by Craig, and finally Moore.

Think I'm watching this tonight.

Or the original not meant to be released 1994 Fantastic Four movie. I need a good laugh tonight.

Love the way its shot & the camera filter, looks like something straight out of the mid 1990's, it's creepy and love the premise, it's like reading a Junji Ito horror short but as a film.

Beautiful.
Miss this style and for that I love the director making the final creative choices for this film.

Monday Movie Night, my pick.

Still one of the best JB movies. I kinda liked the novel but the movie portrayed some of the things in a better way.

Two days ago I've seen Bullet in the Head by John Woo, 28 Days Later, The Witch (2015) and the first Saw movie.

Probably no movie tonight, but the last movie I watched was Black Devil Doll, it's a horror/comedy, some say "erotic" film hahaha. It was released in 2007, it's about a ventriloquist dummy that comes to life, kills, etc. Crude, some may find it very offensive, I thought it was hilarious. Definitely check it out if that is your thing.

TFW I saw this and Tommy Boy in the theater and it only cost $2. Where did the time go? ::sailor-embarrassed

I watched Spiderhead tonight.

Spiderhead.jpg

It has nothing to do with spiders. It's about prisoners enrolled in a program where they test emotion altering drugs. It's a bit of a black comedy. It's like an extended episode of Black Mirror. It has a great soundtrack too.
