I think we've had almost double the amount of tornados this year compared to last year. It's been hecking windy where I am.

They said we had a 5% chance of tornadoes about a week ago, but all it did was rain kinda hard.

I'm much more upstate and this past winter was surprisingly snowy compared to the past few years. Actual snow days. Winter is still hanging on, I think we're hitting 70° this week finally.

It's really bad this year. There are fire warnings in effect now, too. Extreme weather plus the vegetation hasn't had the chance to grow before extreme heat comes in.

I also had the big weather scare yesterday.
Last summer, we had a big tornado warning. My buddy and I, reveling in sheer irresponsibility, decided to take a walk during it. Some dude we past fell off his bike and made a scream was that near 1-to-1 with the Golden Freddy jumpscare.

Made the impending doom feel a little better.

We've had constant heavy rainshowers for the past week and are projected to continue having them through the middle of April. WHAT IS GOING ON???

I actually really love rain so I'm not complaining, but it's really weird for it to have been dark all day and night for a week straight.

The worst we typically get is ice/snow storms in the winter. It's been less and less severe as time goes on though. I remember having an ice storm so bad that trees and shit came down way back when I was in middle school.

Now a few feet of snow and flurries are the worst we get. Our summers have been getting hotter and hotter, too. We get at least one tornado watch every fall, too. Here's hoping it doesn't actually happen.
