Shining Wisdom had a more faithful translation in Europe than in North America, which was handled by Working Designs. Skies of Arcadia was entirely rewritten in the west.

These days, petulant nerds go to war over changes to translations and localized content.

If you want something that is more in-line with how the Japanese version has and a better translation than Solei is for you because that one is a bit more serious than the US version.
If you want something a bit more light-hearted than the US version is the go-to one. Although, the US version does suffer from Rough Translation Syndrome. For Example:
