I very rarely get to talk about this Anime and I only just put two and two together that you guys may appreciate it.
(It's 10 years old ;~; )
Sega Hard Girls is an Anime made using Miku Miku Dance (Because guess who created & owns Hatsune Miku ☆.☆ ) following the adventures of Megadrive, Saturn & Dreamcast as they adventure with many classic Sega characters all in preparation for their release to the home market.

It's a retro gamer enthusiasts dream, as these aren't a loose personification as seen in Hyper Dimension Neptunia (Although NepNep did cross over with the girls in their own game) there ARE the consoles, waifu'd and the whole thing is a love letter to Sega's past- with all the girls personality quirks being derived from their hardware limitations & market reception.

It's no longer on Crunchyroll but I know you guys will know where to track it down if you haven't already seen it, nyaa~
Are there any other Hard Girls fans lurking this forum?

I watched it around when it came out and loved the charm and the jank of the animation. I've been meaning to play the crossover with Neptunia since it was a Vita exclusive, but haven't gotten around to it.

This was way more interesting than the short lived 404. HG actually got the colours and designs of the individual consoles right, 404 Reset got Yoko Taro and everything and the game still had bland designs and music, never was interested in playing it. They didn't even reference that many SEGA games like HELLO, game where Sega is evil and there isn't a SEGAGAGA representative in the game anywhere? What a waste.

It got a PC Port, so you can either get the Vita original from the Repo or it's available on Steam

Show Sega Saturn some love [Why yes, Segata is why Saturn loves strong men in the Anime]

Great anime, especially for retro gamers and Sega fanboys. Sega Saturn is my favorite character, especially since said console is my favorite Sega console. Still it sucks that there are no mascots for Game Gear and Master System at the anime (dunno if they exist at the games). Master System was important at Sega's history as their first mainstream console globally.

Oh man, this post made me feel nostalgic. I remember watching a few episodes of this anime back in 2014 on Crunchyroll.

Dug through old screenshots. These are from 2016-or-so.

Nearly all of them make an appearance in the game. Pico might've also been in there.

The VMU even has a mascot.

I would've cut my post here, but I found some more Saturn for the fanatics.

I forgot which episode, but there is a scene where they leaf through a year book or some sort quickly, if you slow it down, there are indeed other Sega systems there.

Most unfortunate title in video game history

Love SHG though
