At least there is a Burnout game on the DS (Burnout Legends) but though, it probably has proved that the series is much better suited on 6th generation hardware. (I even think that the Dreamcast could pull out Burnout Legends)

"Paper Mario: Sticker Star" is probably the worst Paper Mario installment in terms of gameplay and its incredibly bland storyline (if you can even call it a "storyline" lol), though the soundtrack is phenomenally good. I suggest listening to "Boo Night Fever" and "Snow Rise" in particular.

I read, I don't remember where, someone accounting how they were watching one of 3009's streams and he said if he actually ever released the game he would no longer make as much money as he has been. I don't know how true this is or what but make of it what you will. Personally, as amazing as it looks I've concluded it to be the biggest gaming cock-tease of my time and have discarded any notions of it ever being released. Its been in dev since before my early 20's ffs. I'm pushing 40 now.

Final fantasy 13 is far from the WORST FF game,

Loved FF13, bought a used and cheap xbox360 just to play this one (and Eternal Sonata while I was there with the right console).

My first and only Paper Mario but I totally loved it; I've watch some longplay (not the whole video of 30 hours, of course) of Thousand Year Door on Switch but I didn't feel like playing it

As disgusting as Conception II is in pretty much every possible aspect, there's still... Some kind of RPG going on in it, and..? I can't do this, Conception II is just awful.

To actually stay within the rules... Well, I've become a pretty big fan of the Atari 5200 lately, that covers the question a full system basis. The controllers ARE terrible and the library is VERY limited, but when you get past that (a controller mod helps), all the games are massive improvements over their 2600 equivalents in every possible way, and the unique titles like Space Dungeon are real standouts. If the financiers had seen the virtue in the designers' concepts for 2600 backwards compatibility and better quality controller parts, it could be a very different console world right now.

Also, I don't know if this counts as a trashy game per se, but I never hear anyone talk about it with respect, so I'll bring it up here - I think Egg Mania is one of the most crazy fun Versus Puzzle games of all time. It's simple to learn but has deceptive depth as to what stack tricks you can and can't get away with.

Castlevania Legends has my favorite Belmont and a really good version of Bloody Tears. Even if Sonia isn't canon anymore because of Lament of Innocence I'm still a huge fan of her design.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z: the protagonist is kinda funny sometimes.

Ninja Gaiden 4: at least the gameplay is not as bad as the gameplay in Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, I guess.

Dino Crisis 3: you can use a jetpack.

Devil May Cry 2: you can use the the game/disc as a frisbee (that counts, right?).
