Yeah, CPU is important in compiling shaders, but a Ryzen 3200G is quite capable. With that you can emulate everything but PS360. Of course, a Ryzen 3400G would have some noticeable improvements, but my CPU is a Ryzen 1300X which is a little bit slower than yours and I am very satisfied :). Have you ever overclocked it to 4Ghz? I believe it is a safe overclock for that specific CPU, like 3,9Ghz for mine, and I noticed an improvement overall. Even in summer, which is around 30-32ºC here there is no overheat problem, because it's a safe overclock.
I was planning on upgrading to a Ryzen 5600g, but I kept avoiding doing it for different reasons.

I wouldn't do it now. If you want to go the integrated GPU road, I would recommend to get a mid term 8600G together with an AM5 motherboard. I know it's an extra investment because you have to change an extra component, but Ryzen 8600G is just a little bit pricier than 5600G, but the iGPU is much more capable, as it is RDNA2. In addition, AM5 motherboards will be usable even with Ryzen 10000, so through firmware updates you will get support at least until 2027. Then, from that 8600G you could jump to a 9000 or 10000 series in the future when they are cheap enough and use the computer until 2030, as those CPU's would be quite powerful.

If I could I'd upgrade to something like that and with at least an RTX 3060.
But I have no money and my situation it's shaky.
Also I live in Argentina so between tariffs, devualation, inflation, and the scammer merchants, PC parts could cost 3 times or more than on USA.

Wow, really? even buying second hand parts that are not appealing to anybody anymore? :O

Because of all that, the few second hand are highly sought, and they too want a good cut.

I see. Well, in Spain we don't have the problem as big as that, but I can see many people selling stuff like it were new, and it's second hand. And second hand here is like shit, just a regular western country where people does not care about material things and most of them are dirty, covered with dust or scratched like hell, while they have the shamelessness to tell you they are like new.

I just have the patience to look and seek what has good and fair price, then I buy it. It takes a while, but it's worth it. Saving money and taking the most out of hardware is a way of living for me. Even if I had enough money to buy a high end PC every month, I would keep on doing this because it's exciting and a lot of fun :).

I think exactly the same.

Oh, I didn't knew you are spanish, glad to see another native speaker.

Those cheap Xeons 2640v3 kits from AliExpress are good enough for ryujinxs and anything below God of war 3 on RPCS3. And for the GPU I would look for a used GTX 1660 SUPER or TI at best, anything above that is pretty much overkill.

Defenitely Xeons on Aliexpress are a steal. I've seen even combos with motherboard, Xeon 2680v4 and 2x16GB RAM DDR4 for less than 60€. And that CPU has 14c/28t. For emulation is not the best choice as they have so-so single thread performance, but they can be used for virtually everything, and as you say unless you're emulating God of War 3, they are pretty capable paired with an old decent GPU :)
