RPCSX - yay or nay?

So... I'm trying to figure out a way to play Metal Gear Solid 4 without having to buy a PS3 to do it, and I came across this emulator, I think. I'm kinda already not a fan and I haven't even used it yet. Seems a bit sus.

It's allegedly a PS3 emulator, but it looks like a poormans retroarch that makes you watch ads for in app currency to unlock shit.

RPCS3 is the only viable PS3 emulator as far as I know.

I used it to play Bloodborne!! it worked well ^^
even tho iam a spoiled PPSSPP user (aka the peak of emulation) i whatsoever didnt find any issues while using it

Don't know about this one but from your screencaps it looks pretty sketch. Personally, RPCS3 is the go-to PS3 emulator but I don't think they are mobile compatible.

While I have no complains about the Saturn emulator I had been using, the fact that it required me to be online to use cheats really rubbed me the wrong way.

Also, that one looks really fishy.

You are talking about rpcs3 a well known PS3 emulator that runs decently well but requires decent hardware, rpcsx a fake PS4 is a total scam though.

Yeah, clearly. I basically uninstalled it after getting those screenshots and didn't bother to poke around anymore.

If you want to play MGS4 then your only option is RPCS3 which is a PS3 emulator. Or you can wait until Konami releases MGS collection 2 next year.

Also just to clear up some confusion, RPCSX is a legit emulator however they don't have any website or anything. Everything is done on the Github. So even though the emulator is legit what you got is a malware.

It only runs on Linux, on no other operatingsystem. So it does not work on Android.

There is no official download, unless you have build it yourself from their Github, you should not attempt to download and run it from anywhere.

RPCS3 for ps3 games. If set up correctly and on a decent computer. It's really good.

But it's good to have a PS3 emu.
