I wish this got a rerelease in higher quality like Time Gal.

This is probably the only laserdisc game I know of were FMV fans and critics alike, agree that this is a fun ride. Unlike every other LD game that is considered boring, repetitive, or not really a game, Road Blaster stands above the pack. I think it might be that those who don't normally like normal FMV games see this as something "other", not typical of the genre. Maybe it's just the wicked cool story and overall revenge plot, as who doesn't love a great revenge story?

And BTW, if anyone is wondering why to get the Japanese version over the western releases? This version has a wicked cool intro song that is worth the price of admission for that alone. It really does add the cherry on top to maybe the best FMV game ever made(sadly vid quality ain't the best, but not bad for the mega CD). And there is no language barrier either, as it is pretty much the same as the western releases.
