But for $10 cheaper I could buy an OLED Steam Deck. Which is a fully functioning handheld PC that gives me access to the vast majority of PC games in existence as well as a huge swath of all the console games in existence including the switch 1. What reason do I have to buy an expensive Nintendo branded phone with custom firmware?

A friend of mine has now purchased the device. I also looked at it a bit, yes it is a graphical development but I don't see any reason to buy something like that now. Let's see how everything will develop.

Bought it, played MK World, it was everything I hoped it would be. Smooth as butter (haven't seen any slow down/frame skipping), graphics look fantastic (why do some people only think "realistic" = good graphics?), and the music is SOOO GOOD! The remixed tracks from previous titles are done really well, at least the ones I've heard so far.

Who knows how well it will do in the long run, but so far the Switch2 is off to a great start!

I will say that I'm not a big fan of the joycon button sizes, I can already tell its going to give me a blister on my thumb. Waiting for my Pro controller to arrive to remedy that.

No, I think it does matter. That money could go to something better. While what that is depends on the individual person, Graw is right. And getting more games on the Steamed Deck is free, as opposed to $90 per game.

The thing will be cracked sooner or later, anyway. Most likely a little after a Pokémon game comes out, since that kicks people into overdrive.

I'm not sure if I will get a Switch 2 or not. From what I've seen I'm better off waiting for the price to drop, for bugs to be found, for bugs to be fixed and for a better version of the Switch 2 to emerge before making my decision.

Anyone here who bought the device will blindly play deaf to all negative comments and continue reading with a smile, while they say proudly "I bought it and I can't be more happy".

I wonder why people never admit they bought shit, but even being shit they like it. I've bought many crappy stuff in my life and I thought it was crap while buying it, but it was cheap and met my needs in certain moments in my life. This device is crap but it's not cheap. I am trying really hard, but I can't find a reason to get one at that price :(
