Try it with Linux Mint this is arguably the most recommended distribution for those new to Linux, particularly former Windows users.

Why don't you try with another distro like Linux Mint to see if it works.
Or you could install Windows 11 and try to debloat it.
There's some tricks to install it with a local account too.
