RGT's Video Game Trivia

Fair enough, take it away @RanmyakuIchi!
Alright, let's see... How about a Street Fighter Ryu themed round?

1- What is the name of Ryu's Super move in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo?
2- What is the functional gameplay difference, in the Street Fighter 2 series, between Ryu's regular Hadoken and his Red Hadoken? (This has multiple answers)
3- Does Ryu have the Shin Shoryuken in the game "Street Fighter Alpha 2"?

1.- Shinkuu Hadouken.
2.- Can't be blocked?
3.- No, that's Ken's move.

Two out of three! I'll go ahead and give it since I'm going to bed.

Ryu's Red Hadoken knocks down when used at close range, and Ken's move is the "Shinryuken", though 3 is still correct

Take it away!

Right, Shin Shoryuken started... in SF3?

Take it away!
OK, let's see:

1.- What's the usual name of the "regular" Mega Man weapon?
2.- Jill in OG Resident Evil 3 can dress up as another Capcom character. Who?
3.- Sakura from the Street Fighter series appears in another game with no "Street Fighter" or "VS" in its name. Which game?

@jankusanagi
1. Mega Buster?
2. Don't know, but curious to hear the answer. I'm just gonna guess Chun-li.
3. Isn't it that weird 3D spin-off game by Arika? No clue what the name is though.

1-how many routes has Metal Slug 3's Mission 4?
2-how you can beat Snappy in Devil Summoner Soul Hackers?
3-who appears in the first save point of Xenogears? hint: it's an character from other Squaresoft game
My bad StareBG, they was a bit of a turn mixup... but I don't wanna stress too much about it. I'd love to hear the answers for these though!

1. Mega Buster!
2. Regina from Dino Crisis. (I remember beating both of them back to back on a trip I wanted no part of as a teenager!)
3. Rival Schools or Project Justice...I'm gonna say Rival Schools though.

GUILTY on ALL COUNTS!

Sorry for the wait, here we go!

Q1. In Metal Gear Solid, the menacing mind-reader Psycho Mantis knows your thoughts, and even what games you've been playing! Specifically, give me one game each that he can reference by name from both the PSX and Gamecube remake!

Q2. In Metroid for the NES, Samus Aran appears in the ending sans Power Suit if you can beat the game in three hours or less. However, if you'd rather spend more time doing whippets and shredding on your Razor scooter, which password would you enter? (I don't need the spaces, just the text).

Q3. In Final Fantasy 8, a manic pixie dream terrorist wins the protagonists heart with a cheery disposition and a cool dog. One of the most advertised parts of the game prior to release was a song performed by Chinese pop star Faye Wong recorded just for that romance. What's the name of that single?

1. Some castlevania game that was both on PS1 and Gamecube? I'm not too familiar with the Gamecube catalog.
2. Chozo? Mother Brain?
3. Eyes on me

I'm real sorry, I worded that first one oddly. I edited it, I'm asking for one game *each* from either version, they don't have to be on both systems. (I also don't think such a title exists that he can reference!)

1-Suikoden (PSX) No Idea(GCN)
2-Justin Bailee
3-Eyes on me?

Gotcha.

1. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Bomberman
2. No idea. Let's go with Space Pirate
3. Eyes on me

Thinking of a Konami game for the Gamecube off the top of my head is harder than it seems.

I'll give this just a bit longer, then pass it to DanCalibur for having just about all of it.

mgs for the gamecube looks for launch title save for the gamecube if i remember correctly; not specifically konami games.

Whelp, I was out for awhile and kinda forgot about this, sorry!

DanCalibur basically got it right, his turn!

(Oh, and Psycho Mantis actually looked for Nintendo games primarily on the remake, like Wind Waker, Smash Melee, Mario Sunshine, and wild card Eternal Darkness!)

I actually had no clue Psycho Mantis had different stuff for the gamecube. You learn something new everyday. Eternal Darkness seems very random but upon googling, huh, that's trivia in itself. All the sudden the Kojima-like breaking the 4th wall scares make sense.

@DanCalibur, you're up!

Sorry, too busy with taxes, here goes.
1-Top Man, Gemini Man and Snake man are bosses from what game?
2-What is the name of the special technique used to restore health in Super Metroid?
3-Acording to Castlevania lore, Dracula was destroyed definitively in 1999 by a member of the clan Belmont. What is the name of that Belmont?

2. Crystal Flash
3.... I literally only know like one Belmont, so, Simon?

(Can you guys tell I've never finished a Castlevania game?)
