I am on the edge of my seat watching you crush stage fourSucker for punishment
There is something really special about Cave releasesGood for you, wow, and good job. For real, I struggled with the first level. As well, me too, discover way late my favourites way late, twenty years, lol. I didn't discover Parodius until way later but fell in love with the Cave bullethell shooters just last year. I never came across the arcades back when they were new or played the ports on consoles. I think you won this one, whatever the next game is.
Hard is no joke, exhausting to watch lol. Very nice getting to the final bossSucker for punishment
I keep hearing so much great stuff about Cave shooters. I'll look to give them a try sometime. :) Same with Parodius.Good for you, wow, and good job. For real, I struggled with the first level. You name it broYup. Wachenröder is also another example.
Huh, that's really weird. Does this game use CD audio? I've had this issue with Jersey Devil because my Cue/Bin setup was all wrong.I don't much feel like playing through this one when either the CHD I have or the hardware I'm trying to emulate on plays no stage music.
I have the same problem with cutscene audio in the Mega Man Legends games. Intro cutscene dialogue, Roll conversations in the ruins, I hear none of it.Huh, that's really weird. Does this game use CD audio? I've had this issue with Jersey Devil because my Cue/Bin setup was all wrong.
I've not made much progress in the game -.-
In all honesty, while it's awesome sh'mups haven't ever really been my genre. I am just not that good at these gamesStill gonna plug away at it though for now, but I might find myself defeated before the end of the month.
We've only got like, 1 week before we're all (mostly) playing a new game of some kind.
If we're talking emulation-wise, could be that your files need some changing. Maybe a line of wrong text in the Cue file? If they're not bin/cue it's possible that someone else converted them to ISO or something and just completely left all of the sound files out.I have the same problem with cutscene audio in the Mega Man Legends games. I've said that the file format is CHD. They came on a MicroSD card with one of those Android Smart TV OS boxes marketed by some sketchy company as a game console. If we're talking emulation-wise, could be that your files need some changing. I've had the issue a few times but as long as I check CD-Audio games and make sure they have their CUE setup correctly I've normally got around it.
OH yeah I forgot that you'd mentioned the file type.I've said that the file format is CHD. They came on a MicroSD card with one of those Android Smart TV OS boxes marketed by some sketchy company as a game console.
Well, it's only some types of sounds that are missing in some games, but I do suspect the format to be the problem.OH yeah I forgot that you'd mentioned the file type.
Well it's possible that you may have ended up with a broken file. Likelyhood is that someone took the original Bin file from the Bin/CUE setup, converted it to CHD, and then only put that onto the card. If you want there to be sound in those games you'd need to get a copy that comes in Bin/CUE Or one that has been converted properly.
Yeah it'll only effect games that used CD audio tracks for music/SFX. A lot of games didn't, and even the ones that did tended to have only the music tracks use CD audio, at least in my experience.Well, it's only some types of sounds that are missing in some games, but I do suspect the format to be the problem.
