After getting crushed by Vaati a few times, I'm starting feel the same. I was wondering why one single achievement was worth 100 points. That's not a simple kill the boss with no damage situation, that's kill three bosses in a row with no damage .

I didn't even tried the Vaati fight archievement. The moment I realized it would only count if you fight all phases without taking a hit, I realized it would be too much trouble.

100 points in a single archievement is kinda bad tho. It it was split 25/25/50, it would be better

I'm on dark hyrule castle and since you can walk a bit and get a clean image of link falling against the purple, I could not resist making a vector (attached) so who has a better joke than me!? I challenge y'all ^_^ I know mine is pretty stupid, I'll try to think of something better >_<

While I could understand that Toon Link may not be everyone's favourite design I think he works greatly as a sprite (and maybe low poly models like on the DS).

I've spent the past few days playing the game relatively intensively, so now I'm post/mid Dark Hyrule Castle and am just trying to go around hoovering up stuff I've missed before taking on what I assume is the final dungeon/boss fight.

I am spending a lot of time spinning the Gatcha machine. Not entirely trying to get all of them or anything, but I can't keep collecting them with 999 in my inventory and see them wasted

I'm also confused about the tiger scrolls

I found the ghost guy in the swamp who wanted to teach my the ultimate technique, but he needs 7 tiger scrolls while I only have 4, and the guy in town stopped training me at 4 scrolls. I'm a bit baffled and want to avoid looking major stuff up as much as possible

There are other teachers scatered around Hyrule that teach you other techniques. They are sorta hidden but not that hard to find. Snoop around the places you have already visited and explore some more

Almost there, I'm not a pro at image manipulation, but I think it is fun to learn new stuff ^_^ I guess now I use ffmpeg to convert to webm with the audio track? Might be tricky to make the audio loop correctly though so I'll probably need a delay or something lol, I learn the most about image manipulation from stuff like this >_<

The isolated soundeffect is kinda longer than the gif, so maybe slowing down the gif would allow to better use of the soundeffect. But again, part of what makes it funny is the abrupt audio cutoff so playing around with the length to test the comedic effect may be a good idea

lol,that was my impulse as well >_< I was thinking the same thing and this is what they designed for you to dump excess rupees on, but after a few minutes of the figurine machine, I was like fuck this So now I just walk around with max rupees and shells as much as it pains my optimization instincts

feels like such a waste to walk around with max shells and pointless to find them in chests >_<

I'm training with save states against Vaati and the no damage cheevo is starting to look feasible. I can already do no hit stage 2 and 3 with some consistency but stage 1 is still giving me trouble . I'll try a bit more tonight.

Thank you!! I managed to find them all and cleared out all of the tiger scrolls. Now I'm just going around and hoovering up everything else that I've got left to do. Not even sure how much more there is outside of hunting down more pieces of heart. I've got like 16 out of the maximum 20 that you need and it's not like I'm getting RetroAchievements for this since I'm playing on my 3DS, so I'm tempted to just make my move on the final boss.

On the other hand, we've still got a solid week or two left in the month, so maybe I'll just keep running my head against that huge cave underneath Hyrule Town.
