This is random, but I remember having a fun conversation here (I was talking about Belmont's Revenge and they thought I was talking about Simon's Quest) with some user and I learned (from another user) that Belmont's Revenge SHOULD have been called "Castlevania Adventure II" in order to avoid the confusion lol So you need to be careful if you just say "Castlevania 2" The confusion does come up for some of us that have fond memories of Belmont's Revenge like me >_<

thank you. I just wanted to be sure which version.

But you can always play any version you want ^_^ I'm playing the inferior US release for Ico (as opposed to PAL) because that's what I would have played, but that was just my personal choice for nostalgia purposes. And for clocktower there are qol hacks that I recall some preferred. So it is up to you ^_^

You could always just play Cave Story. It's an excellent game to be fair, and you could always do an old-school forum let's play. We've had a few of those on RGT and they can be quite fun to follow along with.
