Retro LAN parties, etc.

Hi everyone, new to the forum. I am part of a group of fellow nerds in California who hold retro LAN parties on all original hardware, CRTs, etc.
Here's a clip from one of our previous LANs on my YouTube channel where I post retro gaming related videos.

I also started recording interviews recently with 90s gaming industry leaders as well as folks involved in retro gaming. I would love to get any suggestions on who you think I should interview in the future. I have a goal of doing at least 50 interviews for the channel.

Here's my most recent interview, with the CEO of NightDive Studios, who are restoring so many great retro titles:

Very nice. I always wanted to go to a LAN party or something but I've never heard of anything like that even remotely close to me, and the last LAN cafe in my town closed well before I was even conscious enough to go.

The closest memory I have is a few Saturdays over the summer where the local library had a guy come in and run LAN events in one of their upstairs meeting rooms. Kids and teens from the neighbourhood would come and you'd get a 10 or 12 player match of stuff like COD4, Enemy Territory Quake Wars or Unreal 2004 going. Great fun and only a few tantrums.

For me that is quite good to preserve that essence of local multiplayer through LAN (Local Area Network) and by the way, Welcome to the Forums .
