Fave mainline RE game?

The shotgun is the workhorse of the arsenal once you get it, no matter the RE, it doesn't let you down.

I prefer the one from the RE1 Remake, solely on aesthetics.

The Red 9 by far. The original, mildly overpowered one, not the balanced, inaccurate Remake version.

barrys colt 45 magnum, one shot blows the head clean off. the rocket launcher doesnt even do that.plus the rocket launcher is slow to pick up And fire.

I've actually had that issue a few times. ^^; I've replayed RE4 so many times it makes me feel the need to mix it up a lot, but... it's really hard not to just go with Red 9.
This is a huge problem with me as well. It even extends to watching other people play the game. x) All I can think is "No, stop spending money on the (handgun)! You're gonna get the Red9 soon!"

As for myself, no I didn't just spend a lot of time looking at every single gun in the series, why would you say that? But after literally doing just that, I'll have to say the Rifle (Springfield M1903A4) from RE4. It's not the best sniper rifle in the series, but it's my favorite. I have a weakness for old bolt action rifles, having owned and shot quite a few of them. It's no slouch in RE4 either. When fully upgraded it does almost as much damage as a magnum and it's best feature is it's reload animation. Hnnnghhh stripper clip, bolt sliding forward. It gives me life.

...Yeeeeah, I'm a sucker for the rifle too. The moment you get your hands on that thing and are immediately presented with, effectively, a shooting gallery of enemies... how can you not? ::eggmanlaugh

I didn't like the first one one bit.

I found the second one intriguing.

But I adored Nemesis.

Everything else? Meh. Code Veronica was interesting, 6 had its moments... 7 looked really cool, and I didn't get to play 4.

There's nothing wrong with playing the remake of RE1, as remakes go it's pretty stellar.

I think got your idea lmao
I do buy a games that I know I will complete and finish, save it for the future, but some I just want to check it before committed to the game itself. I'm an honest pirate, Honor among thieves type. I play a few and delete it. I Only store the save files for the future.

Oh, right. There *is* an HD version for modern consoles/computers, but the Gamecube version still looks fantastic. (Also, it's basically the same game.)
Ill try it out, also off topic but how do i get a cool name like yours?
