PS2 PS2 title you owned that you didn't see many others having?

Blood Will Tell
Bujingai

Definitely Bujingai. I remembered I preordered it when I was working at Gamestop years ago and my boss was like, "Why?" I told him that it was because "...it looked cool?"

Real reason? I was a Gackt fanboy back then lmao. No way was I going to admit that to anyone while living in a place like Oklahoma. But that's another story for another time. :)

Oni (a game by Bungie from before Halo).
Oh man Oni was amazing! I remember it having one of the most intuitive, fun melee combat systems ever at the time. Still have no idea how I ever came across it though, probably at some yard sale. That one's definitely obscure.

Didn't even know there was a console version - how are the controls in that one?

I was a fan as well. Especially listening to his Mars album. Now, it's embarrassing to even listen to it, lol.

I discovered this game on a YouTube channel 3 years ago. What can I say... I'll leave the comments to you, it certainly wasn't a game to display in a showcase in the living room, XD

Oh my god, lol. The PS2 was definitely the Playboy Magazine of consoles. From Leisure Suit to Playboy Mansion and now I see this. Wild.

My first ps2 game was 187 Ride or Die. And OMG it was trash but it was like twisted metal soo i played a ton of it with my cousins (also because i didnt have other games at the time).

lmao I feel ya. Those were the days. Now I that I've recovered from 'terminal weeb', my son has now inherited the condition and loves anime, it seems. It's all good though; he doesn't care much for jrock/jpop... yet.

Basically a Tony Hawk reskin with Scooters. The soundtrack actually helped me discover a lot of bands I enjoy like Midtown, Boysetsfire, & Gob. Believe it or not, the soundtrack had the Plain White Ts.

Might be infamous horror game 'Rule of Rose', back in the day I had a USA version and PAL version (French cover, English text) both.

OMG did you get rid of it? That game goes for over 1000$ these days.

And in my friend group, I was the only one to have these on PS2:

And the game Red Star is a Leve based Twin stick arcade shooter based on a graphic novel. Barely ever talked about but it's a fantastic game.

Damn! Thats a deep cut. I remember renting Haven: COTK as a kid but never beating it.

This would probably be one of my picks. Such a gem
