I ended up picking up a copy of Dinosaur Adventure. It's a shovelware title but birthed the "eee" meme with the dinosaur. Haven't seen a dump here, wonder how I can get that on here...

Definitely Bujingai. I remembered I preordered it when I was working at Gamestop years ago and my boss was like, "Why?" I told him that it was because "...it looked cool?"

Real reason? I was a Gackt fanboy back then lmao. No way was I going to admit that to anyone while living in a place like Oklahoma. But that's another story for another time. :)

Oh man Oni was amazing! I remember it having one of the most intuitive, fun melee combat systems ever at the time. Still have no idea how I ever came across it though, probably at some yard sale. That one's definitely obscure.

Didn't even know there was a console version - how are the controls in that one?

Oh my god, lol. The PS2 was definitely the Playboy Magazine of consoles. From Leisure Suit to Playboy Mansion and now I see this. Wild.

My first ps2 game was 187 Ride or Die. And OMG it was trash but it was like twisted metal soo i played a ton of it with my cousins (also because i didnt have other games at the time).

lmao I feel ya. Those were the days. Now I that I've recovered from 'terminal weeb', my son has now inherited the condition and loves anime, it seems. It's all good though; he doesn't care much for jrock/jpop... yet.

I briefly owned a copy of vampire night and the arcade gun periphals and it was the only one I saw for the entire generation. Later on I modded my slim and got to play naruto un5 very early before europe going blindly into the noodle language replacing my xs with os. I also had the gran turismo 4 steering wheel peripheral which was pretty cool had some neat feedback stuff on it for that era.
