Game Description:

Project IGI: I'm Going In is a First Person Shooter/Stealth video game published by Eidos Interactive and developed by Innerloop Studios released on 2000 for Microsoft Windows.

Project IGI: I'm Going In is a tactical shooter based on the Joint Strike Fighter 3d-engine. In the game, you are a special agent who has to complete missions all on his own, infiltrating bases with a fair number of enemies. Your overall goal is to locate a stolen nuclear device so that it can be recovered.

An assortment of weapons is in the game, including a sniper rifle, an AK-47, grenades and a rocket launcher to name a few.

In completing the missions, you mostly have one goal: you should not be seen by the cameras or detected by a large group of the enemies at once so that you can complete the level. As soon as an intruder is detected, the enemies are alerted to your presence, and the level gets quite difficult to finish. Since you can't save during the mission, you will have to start from the beginning if you don't complete it.

Every mission starts with a little movie using the 3d engine introducing what the goal of the next mission is.

A PDF copy of the game manual is included in the folder and is recommended to read for the best experience.

You can find and read the Official Prima Strategy Guide for the game here (you need a free archive.org account to be able to read it)

This game has been fitted with the latest version of dgVoodoo2 to help it run better on Windows 10/11. Use dgVoodooCpl.exe in order to change the screen options. The filter options in dgVoodoo don't apply since this game doesn't use directx 8 or 9 so don't bother with those.

To load the game simply run IGI.exe

The game completely ignores resolution setting for whatever reason.
Edit: and now it crashes when i even try to open the graphics configuration.
Do you have directx 9.0c installed? I think that might be necessary? Also don't forget to try running things as admin too. Sometimes that helps. Or setting compatibility mode to Windows XP
edit: oh yeah, you might have to open the dgVoodoo exe as admin and let it refocus to the new location of the game exe on yours since it's in a new location now. Then you can configure the resolution using that from the directx tab in it

This is one of those games I've always kept in the back of my mind. I always loved the title and concept, but I don't remember the gameplay being good...

I often said to myself, "Imagine if someone suddenly talked about Project: I'm Going In? That would be great."
The game is pretty annoying sometimes tbh. While the game expects you to go with the sneaky stealth style, if you're good enough you can just say fuck it and go in guns ablazing Duke Nukem style and just kill everybody. That's pretty hard to do since you'll get swarmed by baddies tho. My dad used to play these games often on his old computer when I was young and I remember it from that

This game is solid, great music too.
VERY tough last mission though, I never managed to beat it.

Sweet, this game is awesome. Played it on my mates pc when it released, think its one of the first games to let you shoot through certain objects likes wall, doors etc. cant wait to dive back in. Cheers CSmith327.
