Im interested in playing some of the games, what would be a good starting point ?
depends if you want to support sega or not. since you got a steam account there's project diva on steam. also for the non-supporting retro type there's PSP emulation with patched iso's and stuff like that. but if you have steam deck you can take your miku on the go. also there's mods and stuff like that for the steam version of miku. you have to look around the steam guides for them.

Project Diva was my SHIT back in highschool. I really need to get my ps4 fixed cause thats my dedicated Future tone console (damn turns on but with just the funky yellow light)
But for me Diva X was a let down but at the same time wasn't as bad as people say it was. Maybe since I put so many hours into it during my hyperfixation on it but it still had some absolute banger songs and it was my first "real" diva game after mirai so there was that.
ALSO MIRAI. they had GUMI. FREAKING GUMI. Like dog thats AWESOME. Like there was so much extra stuff in it that even when I wasn't playing the actual rhythm game part.
Then future tone. THAT was hard. Trying to go from Mirai to x to future tone was a challenge to say the least. Already X (from what I've heard) was harder for even people who played the other diva games like fnd on the ps3 (if inremember correctly its been so long since i read stuff about it) And like I said Mirai was my first so needless to say I was sperging even more learning all the tips and tricks people were doing on youtube. I think I even downloaded that future tone fan project for pc as well (i forget what its called and i have no idea if its still being updated)
I do wanna get mega mix but I dont know what version since I've been waiting to get my ps4 fixed since I already spent alot on all the add ons and expansions for future tone so I'd like the whole thing but Its been years since it came out so idk if I should just say fuck it and by the steam version

Cool seeing another Project Mirai fan. Honestly, I haven't touched rhythm games in a pretty long time. Actually haven't been listening to Vocaloid in general (seems other music still has a big chokehold on me LMAO), but I've heard some pretty good things about Megamix.

I played the Switch demo a few years ago and it's not too bad. I think the song selection is pretty interesting but if you've already put that much money into Future Tone then I guess you might be stuck with it ^^; Once again I'm not too great at the PSP games myself, so I can only hope we get another Mirai game (but unfortunately judging by how popular puroseka is I sadly wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being a mobile game :/ I still hope it won't if we get another Mirai game though.)

I did find it enjoyable but it was missing something. The songs felt more like a stage performance then the music video like ones from the other games, if that makes sense ::thinking
I think this is my biggest problem with Project X too. We only had a handful of these generic-looking stages and it took a lot out of the game for me despite the alright music selection. For me the best one is still F2nd.
