I was searching for spy shows and movies at the time when I stumbled upon The Sandbaggers. It looks pretty boring and is practically on a budget but is probably the most cynical cold war office drama I ever watch. Also the mc is so incredibly ruthless especially by the end of season 1.

Highlander, the animated series. I saw half of an episode after school on an over-the-air christian TV channel whose signal was usually too weak to see. But that afternoon, I saw something set in the future that also felt like it was from the past. Never saw it again, but that anachronistic setting was burned into my brain. I really should go back and try to watch it, but I'm pretty sure it's crap.
