Doesn't this anime exist? He seems to have somehow disappeared into obscurity. I recently read that it's apparently going to get another remake. I have no idea what's wrong with this anime, but somehow it's not reaching its full potential.

Evangelion was all the rage when I was a kid (even though the local version was as heavily censored as Dragon Ball's) and it even made some magazine covers.
