Source and details: https://testament77.itch.io/pocket-quest This is an indie board game style rpg developed by Testament using RPG Maker 2003 (my personal favorite RMK engine) If you ever played the board game stye mini game from Dragon Quest then this may feel kinda similar to you. The game scripting in this is amazing and it's one of the best customizations to the RPG Maker 2003 engine I've ever seen. It's very charming with nice custom graphics and characters taken from classic retro games. The music is awesome too with tracks from Wild Arms and Tales along with a few original songs. […]

This is the reason I come to the RGT Repo.. to find stuff I would have otherwise never found out about!
Very true, even though I'm in the curators team I still enjoy this community as a fan of retro games and these fine people introduce me to games I never knew about.

The fact that someone was able to make a board game in RPG maker astounds me.

Played through the first two boards and I gotta say, It's got a lot of charm. The graphics are great and the jokes got a chuckle out of me. Reminds me of a stripped-down single player Dokapon Kingdom.

Wow this art is amazing. And the humor and moment to moment gameplay is pretty engaging as well.
Definitely a hidden gem for those like me that love board/rpg hybrids.

Does anyone know what the arrow accesory does? Also, the casino is pretty broken, you win more that you lose and you can end up with thousands of gold in the first level.
I played it a bit two days ago, I agree it has a lot of charm, though I'm not big on the genre itself, one thing about the casino, if you are referring to the slot machine I got ripped hard, maybe you were lucky but I kept losing every round.

I love that Who wants to be a Millionaire? reference minigame. That intro that's a reference to Felicia from DarkStalkers is cute and endearing as hell. I just wish it wasn't one of the harder ones to trigger

A fan game of the extremely popular Japanese RPG Maker 2003 indie horror/walking simulator game Yume Nikki. You can read more about it here and about Yume Nikki here You can download .flow here and Yume Nikki here They're good if you like surreal horror themed exploration. (It's not jump scare style it's more psychological)
Oh! I know Yume Nikki is a cult game between PC gamers and your aditional info feeds my interest, :d¡ Thx a lot for the links, bro, ^-^/<3.

I think than this is a mod of "Quiz Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon - Chiryoku Tairyoku Toki no Un", at least for the character sprite than looks very close to "Sailor Mars" ::thinking.
Some of the sprites were sourced from that game but its not really a "mod" of it. It's made from scratch from assets from different games and some custom tiles and sprites too. Which is how the majority of rpg maker games are made. At least the good ones that don't just use the default RTP runtime assets

I'm not a 100% sure if v1.77.3-E was the final version of it or not but it says (Complete) after it in the readme. I'll install it from the itch.io page and check the readme in that one to see if mine is older. I'll reup with the current one if mine is outdated.
Edit: yeah it's the latest one. No need to reup it
