Please, Need help and tutorial regarding all related to MSU for SNES games

I have experience with normal hacks, patching etc, but Iam completely new about MSU feature of SNES roms. It wasn't until this year that I realized they ever existed. So please can someone provide me an explanation how to find and apply them to my existing roms and if they interfere with some hacks applied? The only info I know is that they are audio files and that are indeed hard to find but nothing else. Maybe I can start with Tales of Phantasia once I know how to do that process

Assuming you're using Snes9x, these are the steps to applying MSU1 patches:

• (Optional, but recommended) Create a new folder to place the patch, ROM and music files inside
• Apply the patch (NOTE: When applying the patch, the modified ROM MUST be renamed so that it matches the ".msu" file (e.g., "wguns-msu1.msu" & "wguns-msu1.sfc"). If you don't do this, then you won't hear the CD quality audio.)
• Delete any file that isn't the ".msu" file, music files, or the modded ROM.

If done correctly, you should now be able to load the ROM and hear CD quality audio.

You seem to be mistaken. The way MSU1 hacks work is identical to other CD based games on systems like the PS1 or the Sega CD. Basically, the ".msu" file is an index file which instructs the emulator to play raw PCM files in various spots (Just like how a "CUE" file instructs a PS1 emulator like Duckstation to load various "BIN" files where appropriate).
