@RageBurner@Spike yo! Now that this seems to be working better can you add it to the repo? Also along with Mahou no Shoujo - Silky Lip English patched for Sega CD if you can
Uh oh... it suddenly became like this... I can't even click the back button... do anyone experience this?
I also didn't made another save state before this screen change happened... (maybe i will be able to load the old state but i will lost progress) though the real reason i post here because im curious do anyone experience this too?

Just in case, maybe you want add to your wishlist a (no known english translations yet) Mercurius Pretty - End of the Century. It's a Dreamcast port (remake?) of previous game from Pixiegarden creators

I'll try and ask if he has any way of testing out the patch on a phone but it might be better for you to try and contact him directly, so you could give him any more specific info he might need on your device and settings and all that.
So the patch maker got back to me and he says if you can provide one of the following:
1. A snapshot from No$PSX while the game has frozen (File >> Write Snapshot), or
2. Screenshots of the actions they took in the moments that led to the freezing screen. Typically events are triggered when certain amounts of Spirit Energy are reached.
3. The player's duckstation save data (the mem card .mcd file located in the Mem card folder set in the Preferences in Duckstation.)
he should be able to look into the problem or see if he can recreate the freeze.
Alternatively, we could just wait for version 1.2, as he mentioned he's been testing the game on Duckstation and has been working on a few more corrections that he found.

Sorry for double-posting here. The patch maker confirmed he was able to replicate the freeze/crash that Arika experienced. He mentions there's a few other issues that he wasn't able to catch during testing due to the nature of the game. Many events can only be triggered under special conditions which can take lots of time and playthroughs so he couldn't catch everything. He's not sure what's causing this particular freeze/crash but he hopes he'll be able to fix it and some of those other issues soon
Hi everyone, this is Kazetrigger, the Pixygarden romhacker. Just wanted to thank you guys for pointing out the various issues. The game is in a much better state now and I hope you all enjoy it.

@kazetrigger you should consider updating your readme to say edit the cue file in notepad++ to read FILE "Pixygarden (Japan) (Game Disc).cue" BINARY. and also, you don't need to move the cue file to the old folder. only the old bin needs to be moved. as the new bin works with the old cue file as long as you rename the file again to "Pixygarden (ENG patched) (Game Disc).cue and edit the name again in Notepad++. Game works great btw.
Right now it just refuses to load the file at all.
I'm going to try following Metalgeareris's advice and also try a different download of the disc to see if I can get it to work.
Edit: I tried patching with the disc from the repo and got this error.

Edit2: I'm just not sure where I'm supposed to find the right image for this game if the one on retrogametake is no good. x_x
Edit3:
I tried it with a different download of pixygarden from a different site.

You need to use Notepad++ and make sure old .cue file is named the same as your bin file in the filename and also inside the edited file with Notepad++ as "Pixygarden (ENG Patch) (Game Disc).cue" after the successful patch. So bin/cue can match and run. Remember to grab the cue file from the "old" folder and rename/edit with Notepad++. The OG REPO one does work btw, i do believe you just forgot to match names before and after patching. Your first error indication is due to the cue file insides not matching the bin name.
They have to be exactly named as stated above. Before ur patch, the cue file insides (opened with Notepad++) should read FILE "Pixygarden (Japan) (Game Disc).cue" BINARY and then after patching -> open "old" folder -> rename cue insides by opening the file with Notepad++ and renaming it to FILE "Pixygarden (ENG Patch) (Game Disc).cue" BINARY
aNd then have both bin and cue with exact same name "Pixygarden (ENG Patch) (Game Disc)" in the same folder to play
