Game Info​

This is a mod overhaul of the game 10 Min Space Strategy: Ûrcsilliárdos that I made! Its Phantasy Star Online themed and has its own little story and something I wanna try to work on A LOT more on in the future! It still suffers from not having a full translation but its the most complete of the versions so I used this as a base. I will translate the other version soon! I hope you enjoy my little project! This is version 0.5

I have no idea what Space Strategy: Ûrcsilliárdos is but nice to see people making mods for obscure games about games I know and like.

I'm surprised Sega never made any strategy spin-off for the franchise. If R-type got one then why not this game? Perhaps Sakura Wars, Shining Force and later Valkyria Chronicles existing would've made it redundant.

Well, just seeing that number of ships and planets I can say is not very accurate lorewise.
If was PSO2 can be but...

Its just meant to be a fun game mod with an alternate story to PSO

Editing planet names is a future idea too.

In episode 3 you can use your character in battle no matter what side you picked. As the hunters, thats all you have too since you dont summon monsters.

Sorry, I should of clarified it better. The Character sprite you create, only appears in the hub world and dialogs, but when you go into battle, the sprite changes to the Hunter/Arkz member you picked for your deck. Would of been a cool create a custom card concept that only the Yu-gi-oh! gb and card apocalypse ever used.

The creator of the original game did indeed to a good work and I am even happier that the PSO mod I worked on came out good.

PSO and space strategy, I think, kinda works.

This looks incredibly cool, I love PSO! It's good to see more PSO content, even if it's a romhack!

PS/PSO fan here too! This is a hack of a PC game and I figured PSO fans would get a kick outa it, given the theme.

Because they are. PSO was going to be it's own thing, originally developed by the Sonic Team to be a sci-fi themed action RPG heavily inspired by Diablo, the decision to slap the Phantasy Star IP on it was made later (probably to make it more marketable). It doesn't take place in the same universe as the original though some tie-ins exist, like the existence of Dark Falz, the currency of meseta and the names of some items and things like that. It's still a phenomenal game in it's own right (and it kind of spawned it's own sub-genre which would eventually be dominated by Monster Hunter)

Im a big fan of Phantasy Star as it was originally but the Online part of it killed the mood for me. I dig the aesthetics of I-II-III and IV but these Online games seem like a totally different IP. Alas, Sega does not seem to plan anything about the OG series. Maybe Dark Force IS destroyed for good after all... ...until Sega writes something new and cool damnit!

I do love the online series but yes I would love to see another story driven turn based entry like the genesis ones too.

You know, I've always been surprised Phantasy Star never had a tactics or strategy game for the series. Closest thing they got to was the Card Game for the Gamecube....which makes me mad cause you can create a character, but NOT use it in battle. Still this is very cool. Good luck finishing it.
