What's a petty way you bullied your friends in video games

For example, my friend gave me a haunter in pokemon platinum as a kid and once it traded, it evolved into Gengar. And he wanted it back but being the selfish little shit I was, I was like "if I can't have it, no one can" so I deleted my save file, thus erasing Gengar from existence

Sometimes I brake and get behind my girlfriend in Mario Kart just to throw a red shell at her... But also I'll feather the brake so I fall behind and so she wins sometimes.

Back when I was in grade school, a classmate had a euro SNES (I mentioned it before); one of his cartridges was DBZ Super Butouden 2

All of my classmates were just spamming punches, kicks and small Ki blasts (which were all button mashing techniques) and I was like, WTF?; being a veteran of DBZ Super Butouden 3 (which had a training and move list IIRC) and knew the SF-esque moves. When it came to my turn, charged up my Ki and blasted my opponent with 3 Big Bang Attacks to oblivion

Became the "king of the hill" for quite a few rounds until everyone pestered me to teach them how to shoot massive Ki blasts. I gave in and taught them, I let them play with some for a while, then when I said I'll really resume playing (I wasn't booted "off the hill" as I was basically everyone's target practice) I promptly fired a return Kamehameha and had a Ki "joust"

At first I sat back and let the joust resolve on its own while everyone was screaming their heads off with how cool it was. The next ones, however, had me secretly tapping the A button during the joust and won all the time; they got suspicious so I feigned non-knowledge and hypothesized that either being the counter-attacker or the Ki gauge level was the answer (I rarely fired off one without having a fuller Ki gauge than my opponent)

I gave up "the hill" and watch them play with each other until it was time to go home; afterwards, I heard that every time they play the game they were just spamming massive Ki blasts, forgetting all the chop-socky techniques they did before...

I was a grade-A ass back then, I know...

I think in online games, as what most people do, we all spam killed our friends as soon as they spawn lol.

Especially in Battlefield 2 it was funny to make them panic when I pilot the helicopter and randomly bail out lolol.

I also would act like AFK when I noticed they would spot me soon, so they wouldn't kill me, instead they would just stay in front of me and then I would just headshot them lolol.

Also on Tekken 3 it was fun to spam combo attacks with Eddy and watch our friends get angry. Ah good old times. It was even worth watching them break the PS1 gamepad lolol.

Well, I would have a little anecdote related mostly to Tekken 3. When I played it alone, against the CPU, I would not hesitate to heavily insult my opponent. Unfortunately, this also happened when I was confronted with friends and acquaintances of these, seriously embarrassing me. When I ended up on the ground, the victim of constant okizeme, I could not keep the worst side of me at bay....

Man, even today I still get mad playing against Eddy in any Tekken. He's always been annoying. There's a reason why that bot who did nothing but mash 3 made it to nearly purple rank in Tekken 8.

Paul Phoenix's death punch is also hilarious to mess with friends. Same with Miguel's taunt in 7. Yoshimitsu's seppuku. Akuma's Raging Demon. Grapplers in general. I think fighting games are just hilarious when it comes to messing with friends.

I remember making fun of my brother 'cause I used to do a 11 move fatality on Mortal Kombat Armageddon (I'll never know how I managed to do that 'cause I remember just spamming buttons)

i remember one time i spammed buttons in the cheat code part of Bolt on Wii and i literally unlocked a cheat code

One time I was playing with my friends at their home. We were playing Ultimate Mortal kombat 3. I picked Kano and just spammed him with run toward plus throw then Cannonball. He was so upset he nearly cried. Also neighbors kids had one rule. Nobody pick Noob Saibot in UMK3 and nobody picks Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Tournament Fighter.

Oh yeah. Mortal Kombat games were very good for messing around with friends. Especially Sub-Zero's freezing spam was so annoying for many people lol.

I was one of those kids that made up rumors for shits and grins at school, like being able to ride Yoshi in Mario 64. I also liked doing the first half of Sub-Zero's deep freeze fatality in Mortal Kombat 2 over and over to troll friends.

Yeah there were lots of video game rumors back in the day, but some of them were true like being able to damage the clothes of certain women in Art of Fighting on SEGA Genesis via a special attack lol. I was surprised it was true lol.

Once I fooled one of my friends about Sonic the Hedgehog 3. He was complaining about "damn man I wish Sonic couldn't lose his super power at the start of the game" because at the very beginning Sonic lose the emeralds. So I lied "dude you can jump on the screen with a glitch to avoid losing the stone so rest of the game you can play as a super saiyan sonic" and he bought it lol. The lie was super effective because people knew in Super Mario you could jump like that without glitching to be able to skip to further worlds. The kid tried to find an "invisible block" to jump on for months lololol.

I would hide on the same two corners on cs_assault with a shotgun and rake up kills whilst everyone else got mad that the flow of their game was ruined by my jackassery.

I would also challenge people to knife-only fights, then switch to a gun as soon as they were within range lol.

In high school I would play the sega genesis sonic games with my gf. Whenever I was Tails I was... less than helpful.

My brothers and I would play Mario Party and they would always fight. Once when we were playing one of my brothers promised he wouldn't steal a star from the other as long as he didn't first. Needless to say, that brother lied and did indeed steal the other's star. They sat there in silence for like 30 seconds when the betrayed bro finally said "I seriously just lost respect for you" lmao
