Peak game soundtracks in your opinion

I say that the years 1998-2002 were top tier in terms of soundtracks - you have THPS 1-4 (especially 3), GTA Vice City's 80s tracks, Crazy Taxi, and for non-commercial music I particularly liked Metroid Prime 1 - what are your favorites?

Most songs from every DOOM game, the God Eater and Code Vein Soundtrack, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid and Rising's OST, the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue OST, and most definitely the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games' soundtracks.

Mother 3 and Megami Ibunroku Persona have by far the best soundtracks in the history of video games and simply fit in perfectly with the atmosphere and story of the games.

I'll leave it with Rabi Ribi, Gravity Circuit, Blazblue Central Fiction, Guilty Gear XX, 7th Saga & Mystic Ark, eXceed 3rd Jade Penetrate, Super Meat Boy (I'm talking the Danny B soundtrack, not that pale imitator of a new soundtrack), The Dark Spire, Mary Skelter, Etrian Odyssey III, and Megadimension Neptunia VII and call it a day

I don't know much about PS1 games other than those for children, which were the ones from my time. The soundtrack of Bugs Bunny Lost in Time (some were nostalgic/depressing), 101 Dalmatians Puppies to the Rescue, and the Syphon Filter 1, 2 and 3 series marked my childhood...

It's kinda hard to decide which ones that had the best soundtrack but I gotta say that games from 2005 had SOOOOOO many good soundtrack, like we got Need For Speed Most Wanted, SSX On Tour, Tony Hawk American Wasteland, even the first Guitar Hero was released in that year, so that's my answer I guess
