TTYD was the last good Paper Mario game IMO, they should have just stuck to the formula: Goofy story, meeting and recruiting allies, the badge system... I didn't like what they did with the 3DS games. I don't know about Origami king, I have a switch but haven't tried it yet.

Origami King removes XP entirely so you can't level up, which personally was a gripe for me

It's kinda like a raspberry pi, an all in one gaming machine, except it uses hardware compatibility rather than software emulation, is pretty cool, I'd like one myself but they can be expensive.

I've been messing with this hack for a couple days now it's pretty cool. I just haven't gotten that far yet only almost up to the first temple but I was too weak and turned around and went back to the village to heal. Ive been using Mupen64+ with opengles3 in retroarch. Only one minor graphics glitch during the intro but that's it so far.

Tried using Parallel Launcher. It failed to download RetroArch, then my computer proceeded to fully faceplant and files in my steam folder got erased.

So, you know, not great.
