You don't like racing games therefore you will never understand.Twisted metal black. I honestly really don't like it (I don't like racing games though so that just makes me hate the game more.) I tried to like this game, but I just don't. The controls feel weird to me and the idea of having to shoot things at cars makes it feel very complicated to me. It just isn't my cup of tea. And honestly, I don't really know what people see in the game.
its hot takes 4.0, enjoy itI won't even read the full topic but I'm guessing every popular games will be mentioned for the sake of being mentioned.
How is that game overrated?Donkey Kong 64. A mess. I did not have fun. The intro still gets stuck in my head though, that I don't mind.
Really? I think completely the opposite, even without the story, I find the gameplay/exploration in Silent Hill and even the combat enjoyable, I finished SH3 at least 4 times and was surprised that SH1 had good gameplay too, I can't stand the shitty gameplay from Resident Evil before RE4 (even Code Veronica), it's really a matter of taste, after all.Silent Hill plays like shit compared to Resident Evil if we're going to compare controls, combat and overall playability. I feel like the Silent Hill games make the "game" part secondary, which results in them not actually being that fun to play years later. Resident Evil, as "tanky" as it is, promotes game design over any kind of artistic value, resulting in a *good* game. If you remove the story from Silent Hill and leave the core game skeleton to be evaluated, you'll quickly realize how trash they are.
I guess it can still be considered "overrated" thanks to it being an official Nintendo title and that helps keep it alive in discussions for old video games, but I feel like Donkey Kong 64 has been a bit of a punching bag for everyone who dislikes the slower 3D collect-a-thon games ever since it released.Donkey Kong 64. A mess. I did not have fun. The intro still gets stuck in my head though, that I don't mind.
Twisted Metal is a vehicular combat series, not a racing one. Both are two distinct genres from one another.Twisted metal black. I honestly really don't like it (I don't like racing games though so that just makes me hate the game more.) The controls feel weird to me and the idea of having to shoot things at cars makes it feel very complicated to me.
this take (minus the story part) is so cold it could freeze air, dmc4 isn't really regarded as a classic compared to 3 and 5 anywayDevil May Cry 4. the mechanical depth of the combat is staggering, but everything else is undercooked or half finished. Nero is not well written at this point, and is only elevated by Johnny Yong Bosch giving it his all. The story sucks, full stop. Having to backtrack and fight Neros bosses is still lame no matter how much Dante chews the scenery in the cutscenes.
And the Special Edition does NOTHING to address these issues, they just added more junk.

i grew up with mega fans of the game, so my perspective of how it is viewed may be off from how the general populous views itHow is that game overrated?
DK64 is a good game with great production value. Its one of those games where you need to know exactly how the game works and I can understand why people aren't interested in this game. Some people just prefer Banjo Kazooie over Banjo Tooie.i grew up with mega fans of the game, so my perspective of how it is viewed may be off from how the general populous views it
Hell No, how dare you?!The original Spyro trilogy. They're good games and I'll never dispute that but I've gotten 100% completion on all 3 of them multiple times and I've never felt the hype for it that other people do. Super impressive for the time they came out but the original Crash trilogy are better as games imo
That's how I feel about Ocarina of Time instead.Majora's Mask. That is all.
GOT'EM!!! Ocarina of Time is boring as hell anyways. That's how I feel about Ocarina of Time instead.
