It has been rumored that Josh Sawyer (the original director of New Vegas) is working on the project, so I'm feeling hopeful.

This might be a take that no one will agree with but I quite frankly believe New Vegas' charm and the golden age of Fallout was the era in which they released in. I do not believe in the idea of Fallout / Elder Scrolls games having half the magic they did back then to be recapturing lightning in a bottle now.

I haven't played any of the Obsidian games released in recent years, so I can't really comment on them.

Im done with fallout a long time ago .
When i play a post-apocalypse setting nowadays then i play TTRPGs or other games like the metal max series .

Fallout was for me good at the first game but mismanaged its potential into something that is more parody than a pulp-like post-apocalypse tgat rivals in its seriousness with Conan of cimerias world .
