Nu metal is a whole vibe now, it englobles many different bands and styles from different eras.. if you don't like a certain type of band don't hesitate to check out others.

I was in High School when Nu Metal hit the scene. I was definitely more into the Korn side of the spectrum and didn't listen to much on the Limp Biskit side of the spectrum. But it is nice seeing Static X, Spineshank, Sevendust, Adema, Korn, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Linkin Park, and System of a Down already mentioned. High School I did love Dope but I can't listen to them anymore and Mushroom Head no longer clicks with me.

But what about some Soil

Or even Deftones

Glad to see Deftones on here, they're my favourite band

I remember this band being part of the Fat Records skate punk wave. Wasn't aware anyone called them nu-metal.

I mean, their sound is pretty similar to alot of nu metal at the time, it was just so underground that other ppl say its punk
