That time when a french manufacturer tried to make smoking cool for children! They were candy sticks filled with chocolate that looked like cigarettes! I remember bringing home a packet and my grandma had a melt down until she realized what they were, long story short they didn't stock them locally for very long when parents found out.

I may, or may not have tried to smoke them too at one point! >.>

I had something similar to those chocolate panda biscuits but it was a koala instead.
Shredded haw candy was my favorite but I can't find it locally anymore.

Haven't eaten sweets in ages, I have no self control, so I can't have them around me or I will absolutely stuff my gullet.

When I was thinking about nostalgic sweets, for some reason I remembered some candies you could only ever get at public swimming pools around here for whatever reason:

... Which brings me to a little question - why in hell were/are these things shaped like feet?

Sorry I don't know how to put img up on forums, but Old Fashion candy drops(lemon and wild cherry are my favorite) and the Brand Name Soda pop flavored gum. They tasted awful as soda and couldn't make a good bubble with them...

... Why in hell were/are these things shaped like feet? Foot people held way too much power back in the day.
I remember them!

It's so damn nostalgic seeing most of these now, I remember some elders and kids that would eat it everywhere

Speaking of candies. I remember eating a lot of these like a decade ago

There's was also a Bundle with the rest of the candies like the "fried" potatoes.

I used to eat a lot of these at school when I was a child.

Nowadays I rarely see it in groceries.
