Non-Gaming Hot Takes

candy corn FUCKS candy corn haters dni
As someone from the EU, I have never had Candy Corn. And I really want to know, what is it about it people seem to dislike so much in the first place?

The candy corn I've had tastes really sweet, like those little pumpkins (probably just the same ingredients) but usually if you went trick or treating people might give you several handfuls of the stuff, cause it's really cheap. So you end up with too much, and it gets loose and is really sticky cause it's basically just sugar.

Damn never got them trick or treating, I had to get my own supply. It’s less about flavour, the texture is what draws me in.

I really don't like Five Guys, or overly greasy food in general. I actually prefer the taste of leaner foods (especially beef) and hate when I can noticeably taste fat and grease.

I dont wanna sound classist but I think being poor makes you stupid and im the finest example of that. (also for some reason when I said this on another site someone said "but are you a man?", like if that had anything to do with what I said)

I disagree fundamentally (and once again, I doubt you’re stupid) because I believe there are way more factors than money, but there’s an argument to be made that less affluent people are offered less opportunities, particularly academic/educational ones, in many parts of the world.

I don't get it, but okay.
To rephrase it in layman terms, hentais tend to be uninteresting, low budget and low quality. There’s little enjoyment to be had. Ecchis sometimes have some emphasis on making the characters likable or at least inviting and welcoming, something the former lacks due to feeling a lot dryer writing-wise. There’s more effort in the latter and it feels the writers are just having fun.

Yeah, there's a somewhat (not really imo but it depends on your frame of reference/taste/etc) thin line between risque elements, and straight up pornography.
Hentai/hardcore stuff has a very specific purpose, but ecchi/softcore stuff is a much broader area, I think.

This. I can think of quite a few characters from Ecchis that I like for reasons beyond just the fanservice, I would have trouble doing the same for Hentai.

Another hot take, I think stuff that's provocative and lewd without being full-on pornographic is more... er... "stimulating" than stuff that goes all-in, but I could be telling on myself as a borderline Ace case with this one.

I guess that makes sense. I've never seen an ecchi anime with characters worth giving damn about, but maybe that's just my high standards.

all this talk nowadays about AI replacing artists but no one is talking about the much better idea of AI replacing CEOs. hell you probably wouldnt even need an AI to do it, a random number generator hooked up to 4 or 5 bad decisions would work just fine.
imagine how much money activision would save if bobby kotick wasnt paying himself millions to fart around all day

Just make an AI that's designed to butt into the creative process and throw around buzz-words like "Live Service" and "Battle Passes" and you're already halfway there!

Coke vanilla is honestly the best variation of Coke imo. Diet and Zero I just flat out dislike.
I think cherry is the best one of them all, but vanilla is great too.
Luckily there's a Zero Vanilla version now too, so I can compromise a bit better.

Any flavor of coke except normal coke has a horrible aftertaste. Including coffee coke, but I want it back.

I really liked the Coke energy drink, but it seemed to disappear as fast as it arrived, at least here.

Putting a video playing in the background while you game seems like overstimulating yourself and that's a bad baaaad feeling I don't understand why play the game with all the sounds in it while someone from entirely something else speaks in the background I find it too much information for the brain a more focused singular task is better.
