Noise/Noize/Noise Not Music

Noise is an extremely controversial genre, typically best known for mixing with other genres, they both bring some of my favorite music of all time.

I was never super into noise but I did listen to the more industrial/goth side of it in my teens, like Ramleh, Whitehouse, etc. I think it's interesting how a lot of underground rap artists are making straight-up noise beats now, though. Like Sematary, etc.

The underground rap scene is very interesting in general right now, it's leaning increasingly into more experimental genres and as a result it gives probably some of the most unique rap seen in years.

Not exactly noise like Merzbow stuff but I classify anything like not 'Normal' music as Noise in my brain. I love this kind of stuff
