Surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Really underrated game; very fast-paced, stealthy but not forced-stealth, and satisfying. I've heard people bash it for having weird bindings (which it does) but you gotta be pretty stupid to think that's an issue if you're emulating it in 2025

This is fun and does some things better than Tenchu but the camera and platforming can get funky. I should pick it up again.

Gotta post my Ninja Gaiden propaganda. I've been playing NG4 and it's utterly fantastic. Currently on my fourth playthrough on Master Ninja Difficulty.

Alright the usual suspects have been named. You gots your Ninja Gaidens, your Shinobis, Ninja Warriors, Ninja Batmans, and Ninjas in a can.

So how come not one fucking mention of Shadow Dancer? "We said Shinobi earlier, and that's a spin--" Silence! Not even a WORD about it. The game where you're a ninja WITH A DOG. I'm gonna send the dog to chomp your ass before I slice you. Years before Galford came along.
Furthermore, the Genesis and arcade games are different. So play both.

Didn't see a mention of this Ninja Gaiden either. :
