You ever nicknamed your items? Like calling them a certain word for funnies or referencing something you like


For me i nickname lots of stuff had few perfume bottles that were blue/red/yellow from the top and were made of glass so i called them the crystals in reference to Final Fantasy crystals.

I have a special cup for tea that i named the boss cup

There is a short i own in fact I'm wearing it right now that's colored like olive i call it the marines short well now it's your turn what about you?

I don't often find nicknames for objects which I mostly do for people but some items deserved nicknames lol.

- I call Vector W8 Twin Turbo a "plane car" because it looks like a plane that can just fly away lol:

- During my training in the army they gave me one of the worst possible weapon just because it was poorly maintained its screws were randomly falling down and the gun was unnaturally shaking as if it can fall apart piece by piece any minute and imagine this was the only gun I could have that I had to use for many things from manual of arms (the specific ways to change the way how you hold the rifle due to specific commands) and shooting trainings. Normally when you shoot the gun has to move backwards and it may go a little upwards but my gun always moved upwards intensely and you had to wait for its shaking to stop for a while so I call my shitty Heckler & Koch G3 "shaky" lolol:

The BS is because we were not "real soldiers yet" and the army suck hard we were not allowed to even clean our gun which the sergeant was in charge of maintenance but he didn't do shit other than just cleaning the guns lol. I have heard of we could have been given AK-47 or a varient of it but IDK if it was an urban legend, but it seemed like G3 is the most popular weapon in existence next to AK-47 around the world so it was used like an "expandable shit weapon" lol.

- My PS2 is a silver model and I often call it "vampire killer" lolol.

- My PSP exploded so if I had wrote the nickname I called it they may delete this post lol so I'll translate it to "Bomby" lol.

Oh, it reminded me that in Fallout games I always call my laser guns "Super Epilator"!! They are so "super" they completely remove body hair from anyone in one shot by reducing them to mere ashes as where they came from!!! "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust" lolol.

Dad's car is Mitsubishi Montero, in most other parts of the world it's called Mitsubishi Pajero instead, pajero in Spanish means uhhh well, gooning. That's why they changed the name in Spanish speaking country and UK, but yeah you get the idea.

My entire wardrobe is red (minus one navy polo but lets not count that), that jacket is the only attire I can wear if I want to blend in the crowd, thus the name. I always call it that despite my mum's insistence. "MOOOOM, where is my stealth suit!?" was one of my favorite sentence I regularly spout at least once every few month, it never registered in her head.

My entire wardrobe is black and my favourite clothes combined made one of my friends nickname the outfit "ninja shit" lolol.

What can I say, I love black but I have a white ass skin like I'm a vampire. I wish I was black lol.

I have an SD card that barely works. It connects to my PC whenever it likes to and disconnects after a few minutes. I put small paper on it with the word "terrible" and I usually call it "the terrible".
Another thing which might not fit your criteria is a box I made for storing small thing that are very easy to loose but I need them sometimes. I've called it Chesty. Chesty is a cardboard coated in brown glazed paper and has two paper eyes and a badge with his name at the front. He had a pale paper face before but I made him better and stuck the old face in the inner back side.
